CAN Maroc-2025 : Maimouna Dièye félicite les Lions après leur sacre
The Minister of Family, Social Action and Solidarity sent her warmest congratulations and “deep gratitude” to the Lions after their second historic victory against the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
In a message posted on her social media, Maimouna Dièye praised the team's hard work, discipline, and composure. "They defied doubt, tamed fate, and transformed adversity into triumph. This historic victory for the Lions of Teranga is the result of hard work, discipline, composure, and an exemplary team spirit, fueled by faith until the very last second," she wrote.
"You have united hearts, filled our homes with joy and offered our youth a model of courage, perseverance and excellence. You are more than champions: you are sources of inspiration and ambassadors of hope for an entire people," she added.
Maimouna Dièye also gave special mention to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Khady Diène Gaye Dione.
“Congratulations to our champions. Congratulations to the Senegalese people. Long live Senegal,” she concluded.
