CHAN 2024 : l'Afrique du Sud freine la Guinée
South Africa is back in the race for the CHAN quarter-finals in Group C. Bafana Bafana beat Guinea (2-1). More incisive at the start of the match, the South Africans opened the scoring on their first chance thanks to Maeva, impeccably served by Kutumela (10th).
In the 37th minute, the Guineans came back into the game thanks to a goal from Moïse Camara. At the start of the second half, South Africa took advantage of a lightning counterattack to regain the lead, once again through Kutumela (54th).
Thanks to the great performance of its small playmaker, Thabiso Simon Kutumela (1.63 m), who scored and provided a decisive pass, South Africa secured a precious victory and put itself back in the race for the quarter-finals.
