CNG : une réunion stratégique convoquée ce mardi
The 2025-2026 wrestling season is about to start. After a month of uncertainty, the president of the National Wrestling Management Committee (CNG), Malick Ngom, received official authorization from the Minister of Sports, Khady Diène Gaye, to launch the new campaign.
This authorization, made public last Friday in a circular, also includes the extension of the CNG's mandate until the installation of the future federal team, expected in January 2026, specifies the specialized newspaper Record.
In the wake of this, the CNG summoned the promoters of the arena to a meeting this Tuesday at 12:00, at the National Arena, in order to discuss the measures to be taken for a quick start to the fights.
This meeting should also allow promoters to officially reserve and confirm their dates, some of which had already been informally agreed upon. For example, the sports daily reports that promoter Mansour Ba had scheduled the Mor Kang Kang vs. Prince fight for October 26, but the bout could not take place due to a lack of ministerial approval. He has now reportedly rescheduled the date for November 30.
