Coupe du monde 2026 : La FIFA et les États-Unis facilitent l’obtention de visas
With less than a year to go before the start of the 2026 World Cup, FIFA and the US State Department have announced a measure designed to simplify the process for foreign fans. The FIFA Pass is a system that will allow ticket holders to access priority interviews for obtaining their US visa.
In practical terms, starting in early 2026, any fan who has purchased a ticket will be able to request an expedited visa interview. Furthermore, travelers from countries eligible for the Visa Waiver Program will be able to continue using ESTA, an electronic travel authorization system used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
As a reminder, the 2026 World Cup will take place in 16 cities across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, including 11 American host cities, for a total of 78 matches. More than six million tickets will be available for purchase.
