Coupe du monde U17 : Le Maroc domine le Mali et s’envole pour les quarts de finale
The second all-African clash in the U17 World Cup round of 32, between Morocco and Mali, went in favor of the Moroccans. In a highly offensive match, the Atlas Lions dominated the Malian Eagles (3-2). The reigning African champions, Morocco, opened the scoring through Ziad Baha (29th minute).
In first-half stoppage time, Mali were awarded a penalty, which Ndjicoura Bomba converted to equalize (45+6). But immediately afterward, Morocco regained the lead through Ismail Aoud (45+11).
After returning from the locker room, Ismail Aoud scored his second goal (66th minute), netting Morocco's third. Despite Tiemoko Berthe pulling one back (90+4), Morocco managed to hold onto their lead and secure a 3-2 victory.
