Éliminatoires Coupe du monde FIBA 2027 : Dakar choisie pour abriter la deuxième fenêtre
The Senegalese capital will host the second window of the FIBA 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The announcement was made this Wednesday by the Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB) through an official statement.
According to the FSBB, Dakar has been chosen to host this crucial stage of the qualifying process, which will take place from February 26 to March 1, 2026. During these four days of competition, Senegal will host the teams from Group B of the African zone, composed of Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Madagascar.
This window represents a crucial opportunity for the Lions of basketball, who are in the running for the 2027 World Cup. Playing at home is a significant advantage for the national team, which will be able to count on the support of its fans.
In its statement, the Federation called on all stakeholders in Senegalese basketball to mobilize fully in order to ensure the success of the event and to provide the best possible conditions for the men's national team.

Bonne nouvelle! Mais ça sera dur avec le ramadan.
Merci pour ce magnifique bijou : DAKAR ARENA !
En plein Ramadan heureusement que le temps sera très doux à Dakar à cette période.
