Éliminatoires Coupe du Monde U20 Féminine 2026 : Le Sénégal prend une option face à l’Algérie

Senegal got off to a perfect start in their second round of qualifying for the U20 Women's World Cup, scheduled for 2026 in Poland. At the Lat Dior stadium in Thiès, the Lioncelles won authoritatively (2-0) against Algeria, this Saturday at 5 p.m.

The match quickly turned in favor of the Senegalese. In the 5th minute, Marie Louise Sarr opened the scoring, putting her team on the right track. Five minutes later, number 11 Khadija Badio doubled the lead from a direct corner, already giving Adama Kaba's players a comfortable lead.

Despite a few Algerian attempts in the second half, Senegal managed to maintain its lead and secure a valuable victory before the return match. With this 2-0 success, the Lioncelles have a good option in this double confrontation.
