FA Cup : Manchester City s’offre son 8e titre
Manchester City won the FA Cup final by beating Chelsea FC 1-0, after a hard-fought and long undecided match.
The hero of the evening was Antoine Semenyo. The striker scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute, thus giving the Citizens another trophy.
Thanks to this success, Manchester City wins the eighth FA Cup in its history and confirms once again its dominance over English football.
This latest triumph allows the Citizens to finish the season with a major trophy, but the Manchester club hasn't given up yet. After this cup victory, Manchester City will now focus fully on the Premier League title race.
With two matchdays remaining in the season, Arsenal still sit atop the table with 79 points, two points ahead of Manchester City. A fierce battle is therefore expected right down to the wire to determine the next English champion.
