Jeanne d'Arc : après le deuil, un intérimaire confirmé
Jeanne d'Arc of Dakar (National 1) has officially appointed Tassirou Diallo as head coach of its first team. He succeeds Al Ousseynou Sène, who tragically passed away just one month after his appointment.
An interim period transformed into an official mission
Following the resignation of assistant coach El Hadji Sow, who refused to replace the deceased coach out of respect, Tassirou Diallo was brought in to fill the role. The former coach of Niayes and Mbour PC shone during his interim period, securing two wins and a draw in three matches, notably against US Rail and Haayoo Agnam. His performance convinced the president of the football section, Aly Sarr, to confirm him in the position.
Objective: a return to the elite
The former AS Police international striker's main mission will be to get Jeanne d'Arc promoted back to Ligue 2 after several seasons outside the top flight. For this challenge, he will be assisted by Kossoga, a physical education teacher at the Sacré-Cœur school, who has been appointed assistant coach, reports Record.
