FSF : La Commission de recours rejette l’appel de Mady Touré
The Appeals Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) met on August 27, 2025, to examine the appeal filed by Mady Touré, president of the Génération Foot academy and candidate for the post of president of the FSF.
Mady Touré challenged the August 2, 2025, General Assembly election process, alleging irregularities, alleged corruption, and malfunctions in the voting process. He called for the results to be annulled, for the federal members involved to be sanctioned, and for new elections to be held.
After examining the documents provided (minutes, bailiff's documents, audio and video recordings), the commission declared the appeal inadmissible, considering that it could not be the subject of an ordinary appeal in electoral matters, in accordance with articles 8, 12, 13, 15, 21 and 24 of the FSF Electoral Code.
Final decision: The appeals committee has jurisdiction over disputes relating to registration on electoral lists, but not over annulling an election once the poll has closed; it confirmed the validity of the poll of 2 August 2025, considering that the results declared remain final. The appeal lodged by Mady Touré is therefore deemed inadmissible.
This decision puts an end to legal disputes, even if the debate around the transparency of the vote continues to animate the Senegalese football world.
