Souleymane Diallo is the new coach of Jaraaf. The coach of the local Lions, who have qualified for the semi-finals of the CHAN currently taking place in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya, succeeds Malick Daf, who left the Medina club's bench at the end of the season for Teungueth FC.
L'Observateur, which broke the news, reports that Diallo will sign with Jaraaf for two years. "The contract is expected to be formalized just after the end of the CHAN," the newspaper states. It also indicates that until then, the Medina team is preparing for the next season under the command of Demba Bâ, appointed assistant coach following his departure from the HLM.
The same source reports that Souleymane Diallo holds a doctorate in educational sciences and is a winner of the CAMES (African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education) competitive examination. He managed Guédiawaye FC and was assistant to Serigne Saliou Dia on the bench of the Lionceaux U17, African champions in 2023.
