The 13th round of the Senegalese Ligue 1 reshuffled the standings. Thanks to their victory against US Gorée, AJEL of Rufisque moved into first place, while Linguère and ASC HLM sank to the bottom of the table after their respective heavy defeats.

By winning at home against US Gorée (1-0), the Association Jeunesse Éducation Loisirs (AJEL) of Rufisque takes the lead in the Ligue 1 standings. The Rufisque team now has 24 points, one point ahead of their opponent of the day (23 points).

Still near the top of the table, Casa Sports returned to Ziguinchor with a valuable point from their away match against AS Pikine (1-1) in the Dakar suburbs. This result allows the southern club to consolidate its 3rd place with 22 points, while AS Pikine maintains its 4th position with 20 points.

On the road in Mbour, Teungueth FC (5th, 20 pts) were held to a 0-0 draw by newly promoted Stade de Mbour. In the derby between clubs from the capital, Dakar Sacré-Cœur (6th, 18 pts) and Jaraaf (7th, 18 pts) played out a goalless draw.

In the bottom half of the table, Génération Foot (8th) continues to climb the standings. The Academicians comfortably defeated ASC HLM (3-0), thanks in particular to a hat-trick from Abdourahmane Mbodj (43rd, 48th and 81st minutes), the current league top scorer with 6 goals.

At the Ngor municipal stadium, US Ouakam secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Linguère, climbing to 9th place with 15 points. Linguère, meanwhile, remains stuck in 14th place with 11 points.

The 13th day will conclude this Monday with the matches Sonacos-AS Cambérène and Wallydaan-Guédiawaye FC.
