Ligue des champions UEFA : Lourde sanction pour Luis Diaz, après son tacle dangereux sur Achraf Hakimi
UEFA's verdict has been handed down, and it's causing consternation at Bayern Munich. Luis Diaz was sent off during the Champions League clash between PSG and Bayern (1-2) for a reckless tackle from behind on Achraf Hakimi and has been suspended for three matches. The Bavarian club considers this sanction particularly harsh.
The Colombian winger for the German club will therefore miss the crucial away match against Arsenal next Wednesday, as well as the following two games against Sporting CP and Union Saint-Gilloise. A significant blow on the pitch, but also a decision that has raised eyebrows within the club.
According to the German newspaper "Bild," Bayern Munich's management had expected a one-match suspension. Unhappy with the decision, Bayern's directors have requested an explanation from UEFA and are now considering an appeal.
In a press conference, the coach, Vincent Kompany, did not hide his incomprehension: "The information I had suggested a one-match suspension. I will be very disappointed if that is not confirmed."
For Paris Saint-Germain, the consequences are also severe. Achraf Hakimi, the victim of the tackle, suffered a serious ankle sprain. The Moroccan defender is expected to be sidelined for at least three to four weeks.

Je ne sais pas quel virus l'a piqué ce jour là mais il a vraiment dérapé. Et du courage à lui.
