Litige Mbappé-PSG: Le joueur envoie un huissier à son ancien club pour une somme toujours impayée
The financial dispute between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain is far from over. Ordered last December by the courts to pay €60.9 million to its former striker, now a Real Madrid player, the Parisian club has not yet settled the full amount owed.
According to information revealed this Friday, February 6th, by L'Équipe, €5.9 million remains unpaid. This sum corresponds to accrued vacation pay, interest on back wages, and signing bonuses claimed by the French national team captain. Of the €60.9 million initially demanded, PSG has reportedly already paid €55 million.
Faced with this payment delay, a bailiff went to the Parisian club's headquarters to assess the situation and initiate the procedure stipulated by the court order. PSG now has eight days to pay the remaining balance.
If payment is not made within the allotted time, the court could proceed with a direct seizure of the remaining sum from the club's accounts.
A new episode in a legal saga, which continues to fuel the news surrounding the now strained relationship between Kylian Mbappé and his former employer.
