According to Arne Slot, his team is unable to find attacking solutions against deep-lying defenses and is shaky on set pieces. This frank assessment from the Dutch manager was not well received by former Reds captain Jimie Redknapp.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he didn't mince words. "Honesty is a good thing. Right now, he's right to say that the team can't play against a deep-lying defense and struggles to defend from set pieces. But he's also going to pass that on to the players, and that's not a good idea. Arne is getting a lot of negative comments at the moment. I'd rather not hear too much about it," the English pundit emphasized.
With this early elimination, the pressure is now mounting on the shoulders of the Reds' manager, while the fans expect a reaction in the next Premier League match.
