Liverpool : Une piste pour la succession de Slot activée
After a disappointing season, Liverpool FC could be turning a new page on their managerial side. According to Foot Mercato on Thursday, the Reds have already activated a serious option to succeed Arne Slot: Andoni Iraola.
Currently managing AFC Bournemouth, the Spanish coach is having a remarkable season. Out of contract, Iraola has transformed the Cherries into a genuine surprise package in the Premier League. The club from the south of England, unbeaten in the league since January 3rd, is currently on an impressive run of 17 matches without defeat.
Thanks to these performances, Bournemouth will play in their first ever European campaign next season, with even the hope of qualifying for the Champions League.
Richard Hughes could have a significant influence in this matter. The current Liverpool sporting director knows Iraola very well, having recruited him at Bournemouth when he was technical director.
But Liverpool are not alone in their pursuit. Crystal Palace FC are also closely monitoring the Spanish coach, as Oliver Glasner's departure appears increasingly likely.
