Lutte : le manager de Reug Reug écarte l’accident et parle de…
Reug Reug was not involved in a traffic accident as reported by the media. He is not currently in Dubai, but in Mexico. These clarifications were provided by his manager, Palla Diop, in comments reported by Record.
“Last Tuesday,” he recounts, “I spoke to Reug Reug on the phone. He had undergone a medical examination required by One Championship. This examination showed that his shoulder injury had not healed. Thus, his fight on November 16th was cancelled. And he is required to undergo surgery to permanently repair the injury.”
Further details from the manager: “As I speak to you (Thursday evening), Reug Reug is in Mexico. That's why I was surprised to hear about an accident. I want to make it clear that I know nothing about MMA matters. I don't sign his contracts for this sport. I don't speak with the promoters. The only person I speak with is Reug Reug, and I only take what he tells me. Reug Reug hasn't mentioned an accident to me.”
However, the fight between Thiaroye and Boy Niang 2, initially scheduled for January 1st, has been postponed. Makane Mbengue, head of Gaston Productions, the event's promoter, announced the news this Friday at a press conference, emphasizing that he had no doubt Reug Reug was injured.

Un manager défend les intérêts de son lutteur et évite les problèmes et polémiques.
Reug Reug a sûrement un autre manager à l'international. Au niveau local, il doit se séparer de ce type.
