Among the big favorites for the 2026 World Cup are, of course, reigning world champions Argentina, but also Spain, who won Euro 2024. La Roja have continued to tread water since then, but France striker Kylian Mbappé wonders if a lack of World Cup experience could be fatal for Luis de la Fuente's men.
"Spain is one of the few teams where the young players play like the first team. I can only congratulate them for that, it's an advantage. They're a team that controls the game very well. Technically, they're very strong. In my experience at World Cups, it's not always good to arrive in such good shape before the competition. They're very young and many of them don't know what a World Cup is. For me, they're the best team in Europe right now, but the World Cup is different," the French captain warned Movistar.
