According to Bild, the Brazilian football superstar has suffered a meniscus injury and will not play again this year. His season is therefore over, as the final matchday of the Brazilian championship is scheduled for December 7th.
Santos in trouble
The injury to the former Barcelona star comes at a critical time for his club, Santos, who are in the relegation zone with three matches remaining in the season. The São Paulo-based team is currently 17th in the standings and needs to achieve good results in its upcoming matches to avoid relegation. Unfortunately, they will be without their star player, who is once again injured.
This is the fourth time the striker has been injured this year. It's not good news for him, especially since he wants to play in the 2026 World Cup with the Seleção.
The condition of Carlo Ancelotti
The new coach of the Canarinha, Carlo Ancelotti, has nothing against his return to the national team, however, he insists that the player must be in good physical condition to fully exploit his talent.
