OM : Beye savoure la réaction
After two defeats against Lille (1-2) and Monaco (1-2), Olympique de Marseille bounced back with a 3-1 victory over FC Metz on Friday in Ligue 1. Marseille coach Habib Beye wasn't entirely happy with the match, but the Senegalese coach was pleased with the rebound.
"It was very important to win, because when you're in a run of form like ours, when you're at OM, you can't be satisfied. It was important to win in front of our fans. The matches are difficult for everyone; it will be a battle until the end. Everyone is fighting for their place and their objectives. There was a team fighting to stay up that showed character and desire, but we played the game we needed to play to win. The three points are very welcome, and we're improving our goal difference, which might allow us to make the difference in case of a tie. Everything wasn't perfect, but these three points after a negative run of form are very valuable," the former Rennes manager emphasized on Ligue 1+.
In the standings, OM temporarily regains 3rd place, ahead of Lille.
