Premier League : Mauvaise nouvelle pour Habib Diarra

Having arrived at Sunderland this summer from Paris, Habib Diarra has suffered a major setback. The Senegalese international midfielder, injured in training, will be out for two months.

‎"Sunderland AFC midfielder Habib Diarra underwent successful surgery on Monday. After injuring his groin in training ahead of the Premier League match against Aston Villa, the 21-year-old will now begin a period of rehabilitation at the Academy of Light. Diarra, who moved to Wearside from RC Strasbourg in July, is expected to return to action in December. We wish you a speedy recovery, Habib!" This is very bad news for Habib Diarra, but also for the Senegal national team, which is counting on him for the two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.
