Préparation Can-2025 : La Tunisie en pole pour le stage des Lions du Sénégal
According to the newspaper "Le Quotidien," Tunisia could be chosen as the training base for the national team led by Pape Thiaw, before the next training camp scheduled for December in Tangier. This choice, which is yet to be confirmed, would primarily be based on climatic considerations. Conditions in Tunisia are considered ideal for allowing the Lions to acclimatize before their stay in northern Morocco.
According to the same source, several African national teams have already finalized their training plans. Some have chosen to remain in their home countries, such as Morocco, Egypt, Gabon, and Tunisia. Others have opted for a training camp in Europe: the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ivory Coast will train in Spain, while Angola and Mozambique will travel to Portugal.
In Senegal, the coaching staff remains focused on the upcoming major match against Brazil, scheduled for November 15th in London. For the moment, this is the only game on the schedule during this international window. In parallel, the federation is considering organizing a friendly match in Dakar before the team departs for Morocco. This initiative will depend on the availability of an African opponent.
