With this shared score, Algeria (1st, 19 points) will qualify if they win on October 5 against Somalia (6th, 1 point), the weakest team in the group.
In the other group match, Uganda maintains its hopes after its victory against Somalia (2-0) and returns to within four points of Algeria. Mozambique, winner of Botswana (2-0), also has 15 points and dreams of qualification.
In Group I, Madagascar beat Chad 3-1. With this victory, the Barea (2nd, 16 pts) are level with Ghana (1st, 16 pts), who face Mali this evening.
