Real Madrid : Les premiers cibles de Mourinho
Even though he hasn't officially taken up his post yet, José Mourinho reportedly already has a clear idea of the players he wants to bring to Real Madrid to strengthen his future squad. According to the Spanish press, the Portuguese manager intends to quickly consolidate certain priority areas, particularly the right side of the defense and the midfield.
For the right-back position, Mourinho would like to sign Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese defender from Manchester United appears to be a credible option to provide more defensive solidity in an area where Trent Alexander-Arnold, touted as a key part of the Madrid project, would need competition after the departure of Dani Carvajal.
José Mourinho knows Dalot's profile perfectly, having managed him at Manchester United. At 27, the Portuguese international is coming off a full season in the Premier League, having played 34 matches and scored one goal. His versatility, tactical discipline, and ability to adapt to different systems are said to be particularly appealing to the Portuguese manager.
Under contract with Manchester United until 2028, Diogo Dalot could nevertheless represent a significant investment for Real Madrid. His transfer fee is estimated at just over 30 million euros.
Meanwhile, Mourinho is also reportedly targeting Morten Hjulmand, the Danish midfielder from Sporting Lisbon. Aged 26 and captain of the Lisbon club, the player has established himself as a key player in midfield thanks to his work rate, physical presence, and ball-winning abilities.
