Stade de Grand-Yoff : escroquerie de plus de 200 millions F CFA, deux entrepreneurs déférés
A financial scandal involving more than 200 million CFA francs earmarked for the construction of a stand at the Grand-Yoff municipal stadium has led to the arrest of two contractors, D. Lô and Th. Fall. According to the complaint filed by stadium director Malick Ba, seen by L'Observateur, the two men fraudulently collected 206.5 million francs between 2023 and 2024.
The investigation revealed that they used forged documents and staged a supposed collaboration with an Italian supplier. “In March 2024, under the pretext of difficulties with this supplier, the duo convinced Malick Ba to travel to Italy, where they introduced an individual supposedly representing the supplier. Through this scheme, they obtained an additional payment of 40 million.”
After several payments, including an initial down payment of 115 million in February 2023, no platform has been delivered, the same source claims. The duo was brought before the court this Thursday, September 19, after a four-month investigation, for breach of trust and forgery.
