Supercoupe d'Europe : Le PSG remporte le trophée devant Tottenham de Pape Matar Sarr
The European Super Cup final was played this Wednesday in Udine, Italy. Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-2, 4-3 on penalties.
However, it was Pape Matar Sarr's teammates who had started the match perfectly, leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Micky van de Ven (39th) and Cristian Romero (48th). But five minutes from the end, Paris turned everything around thanks to their substitutes Kang-In Lee (75th) and Gonçalo Ramos (90th).
In the penalty shootout, PSG proved more adept, converting four penalties to their opponent's three. This was a huge disappointment for Pape Matar Sarr, who had hoped to start the season with a trophy.
