Following Tapha Tine and Franc's contradictory statements regarding an MMA fight, their coach Matar Lô stepped in to put an end to the controversy. In an interview with Lutte TV, reprinted by the sports daily Record, Matar Lô claimed that the incident, which occurred in December 2023, was merely a "game" between the two wrestlers and not a "massacre" as Tapha Tine had claimed.
The coach clarified that this confrontation was a brief "snitch lasting a few seconds" during a training session, with no real stakes. "It was just a little show for the shoot, nothing serious," he added.
