Transfert : Mamadou Sarr dans le viseur du Real Madrid
Having just been bought by Chelsea, who then loaned him to Strasbourg, Mamadou Sarr is now reportedly being closely monitored by Real Madrid. The young central defender, who recently opted to play for Senegal, is now on the Spanish giant's radar.
The imposing defender (1.94 m), who appeared during the Club World Cup with Chelsea, has been loaned to Strasbourg, where he is captain.
With Chelsea struggling to find a reliable central defender duo, an early return of Mamadou Sarr to Stamford Bridge in January cannot be ruled out. However, according to the media outlet "Fichajes," Real Madrid, who were reportedly attracted by his profile, are considering an approach.
Madrid scouts are already reportedly assessing the potential of the potential future Senegalese international, with a view to a possible offer. Sarr has only 35 Ligue 1 appearances so far, but his career appears to be on an upward trajectory this season, especially as Strasbourg also compete in the Conference League.
With the potential departures of Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba, and the failure of the William Saliba case, Mamadou Sarr could represent a credible alternative for the White House.
