Violences après le sacre du PSG : Elon Musk pointe Paris du doigt
The head of the X platform criticized the scenes of chaos that occurred in the French capital after Paris Saint-Germain's victory in the Champions League final. These incidents were also commented on by Western nationalist and identitarian figures.
These incidents did not escape Elon Musk's notice. On the social network X, which he owns, the American billionaire shared footage filmed by independent journalist Luc Auffret, showing a crowd of young people running near the Parc des Princes stadium, with police in pursuit, on the evening of May 30th. In the middle of the street: a pile of burning bicycles. "Problems in Paris," the entrepreneur, known for his commentary on European news, euphemistically remarked.
Violence erupted after Paris Saint-Germain's victory in the Champions League final, particularly on the Champs-Élysées. According to a statement released by the Interior Minister at 1:30 a.m., 416 people were arrested across France, including 283 in the Paris metropolitan area alone. Looting was reported, notably in Rennes, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Clermont-Ferrand, and Grenoble. At least seven police officers were injured, one seriously in Agen, who suffered a head injury.

In anticipation of clashes, more than 22,000 police officers and gendarmes had been deployed throughout the country, including 8,000 in the Paris region – more than during the last final, which was already marred by violence.
The scenes of vandalism and chaos in the French capital have sparked numerous reactions abroad, particularly from European nationalist and identitarian figures. "Looting continues into the night in France, as 'invaders' sow chaos after PSG's victory in the Champions League final," tweeted British activist Tommy Robinson, sharing a video showing individuals attacking a shop front. "Win or lose, the football match produces the same result in the streets of Europe. They should all be expelled." Similarly, the leader of the Dutch PVV, Geert Wilders, and the head of the German AfD, Alice Weidel, launched an appeal on X for the "remigration" of the troublemakers.
