Zone 2/B et don de sang à Tambacounda : mille et une raison de l’appel à la mobilisation du député Mady Danfakha
The eastern capital is not a good student when it comes to blood donation. To reverse the trend, Pastef MP Mady Danfakha, known as Papy, in collaboration with Zone 2/B of the Tambacounda Odcav, plans to mobilize the entire population in the run-up to the final for a blood donation campaign. The goal is to prevent shortages of this product in health facility banks.
“The Youth Day celebration should be a highlight in favor of blood donation and allow for widespread awareness among the population about this gesture which can save lives,” explains the Pastef MP.
"It is a matter of doing everything possible to increase the number of blood donors and to retain a large number of them, because needs can arise without warning for victims of disasters," he said.
He called for a strong mobilization of Tambacounda's youth on Saturday morning at the stadium. This day will also be used for screening for diabetes and high blood pressure. Free consultations and donations of medication will punctuate the campaign.
