Miss Jamaïque toujours hospitalisée en soins intensifs après sa chute de la scène de Miss Univers
Miss Jamaica is expected to remain in intensive care for at least another week after her spectacular fall from the Miss Universe stage last Wednesday.
The sequence was blood-curdling. Gabrielle Henry, aka Miss Jamaica and a 29-year-old ophthalmologist by profession, was walking the runway last Wednesday in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the Miss Universe competition when she suddenly fell into the void.
Immediately after the horrific accident, the young woman was taken to intensive care, where, according to the latest news, she will have to remain for at least another week.
"Gabby's health is not as good as we had hoped, but the hospital continues to treat her accordingly," her sister told the Miss Universe Jamaica committee on Friday.
As stated in a press release shared on Instagram, Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, Gabrielle's sister who is currently in Thailand with their mother, Maureen Henry, is keeping the organizers informed of the latest developments.
Miss Jamaica must therefore remain under close medical supervision. "During this extremely difficult time, the Miss Universe Jamaica organization calls for prayers for Miss Jamaica. We also encourage friends, supporters, and all people of goodwill around the world to join us in showing her love, strength, and hope," the statement also reads.
"Our priority remains Gabrielle's recovery and the well-being of her loved ones. We ask that you continue to show compassion, sensitivity and respect for the family's privacy during this difficult time," it added.

En tant que père, je me dis toujours " et si cela arrivée à ma fille (une chute pareille)". Alors évitons de nous moquer et de tenir des paroles d'ânes.
