Parade des Lions de la Teranga : La Police nationale déploie plus de 1500 agents à Dakar
The Lions of Teranga's popular parade through the streets of Dakar took place under tight security. To manage this major national event, the National Police mobilized a significant personnel and logistical force, with more than 1,500 officers deployed along the route.
True to its mission of protecting people and property, the National Police ensured the safety of the massive crowds of citizens who came to celebrate the champions and express their gratitude. A comprehensive security network was deployed to guarantee a peaceful gathering between the Senegalese people and their heroes, while also facilitating the procession's progress through the capital.
From the early hours of the day, police units were positioned along the entire route leading to the Presidential Palace. They remained mobilized until the Lions arrived at the Presidency, ensuring the maintenance of order, the smooth flow of traffic, and the prevention of any incidents.
In a context marked by exceptional popular enthusiasm, the National Police played a decisive role in making this celebration a moment of shared joy, while respecting public order and security rules, thus contributing to the success of this great national holiday.
