21ÈME ÉDITION DE LA JOURNÉE DE PRIÈRES : Le sermon d'Elhadji Cheikhou Oumar Ndiéguène à l'endroit de la classe politique
The Kalimatoul Hakh Movement held its 21st annual Day of Prayer in Thiès on Saturday, December 27, 2025. During the event, religious leader Elhadji Cheikhou Oumar Ndiéguène delivered an important message to the political class and the Senegalese people in general.
“President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko want to embody the ‘Jub, Jubal, Jubanti’. This concept is not new for some, because it is recommended by the Almighty. It is what God and every Muslim want,” said Elhadji Cheikhou Oumar Ndiéguène.
For him, the "Jub, Jubal, Jubanti" concept is a good thing. However, he asks Diomaye and Sonko not to overuse it. "They should avoid going too far. If they want to implement 'Jubanti,' they should do so as God recommends. There must be balance in its application," he said.
According to this religious authority, the development of a country is a collective and inclusive effort. "Neither a president of the Republic alone, nor a government, nor even a people alone can develop a country. The State, the people, the opposition and all stakeholders must unite to move Senegal forward," he affirms.
The religious leader finally prayed that Diomaye and Sonko would succeed in their mission to lead the country.
