Invited by the steering committee coordinator to participate in the International Media Fair of Africa (SIMA), held from October 27 to 30, 2025, in Dakar, Senegal, under the theme "Africa Facing New Media Challenges," Mr. Eric Chinje, a Cameroonian journalist and former editor-in-chief of Cameroon Television (CRTV), emphasized the role of media in the development of the African continent. In this exclusive interview with Seneweb, the former Director of Communications for Africa at the World Bank, Head of Communications at the African Development Bank, and Director of Strategic Communications at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, maintained that "Africa cannot develop without the media understanding the challenges it faces."
