Kaolack : Le maire Serigne Mboup en tournée dans les écoles de sa commune
The mayor of Kaolack has launched a major crackdown on schools and educational establishments within his municipality. Through this operation, Serigne Mboup aims to implement the national "Oubi Tey, Diang Tey" concept as soon as classes open.
"A team was mobilized in the schools to take stock of the situation. We took the initiative to drain the water in all the schools to protect them from flooding. This was thanks to the intervention of the firefighters as well as the military engineers and the management of the living environment. After the water has been evacuated, we will weed and clean the schools to create a school environment conducive to studies," explained the mayor during the visit.
He also assured that the municipal team intends to repair all defective tables and benches and replace old tables.
