ʺ Nouha Cissé, une vie d’épreuves et de gloires ʺ : ce qu’il faut comprendre de la publication de ce livre
"Nouha Cissé, a life of trials and glories." This sentence sums up the immense work of Nouha Cissé, a multidimensional man and former principal of the Djignabo Bassène High School in Senghor. The tribute comes from Alpha Yaya.
In truth, Nouha Cissé, a native of Karciack in the Sédhiou region, was orphaned at a very early age. He then resolved to face his destiny.
The man devoted his entire life to the Ziguinchor region and to Casamance in general, through acts of mediation and his involvement in the search for peace in this southern part of the country. For Alpha Yaya, he must be presented as a model of resilience and a benchmark for the younger generation.
"I wanted to pay tribute to him. Because he's someone who did a lot for the natural region of Casamance. I was going to say for Senegal. So, it's important today to immortalize him through this book. And this book is a viaticum for this new generation. Because Nouha is someone very resilient, who started out in conditions, in situations that were very complicated and difficult at the same time," explains Alpha Yaya.
According to the author, the aim of writing and publishing the book was to use the former headmaster of the Djignabo High School as a model.
Alpha Yaya claims that Mr. Nouha is a monument, and therefore a building that Ziguinchor should at least bear his name.
Nouha Cissé, in a burst of humility, dedicated all the actions of his life and his commitment as "a duty of accountability." "It is a feeling of very deep gratitude to the people of Ziguinchor and by extension to the entire population of Casamance. I am a product of this region. I am intellectually, I am culturally, I am also in the process of pacification of the region. So essentially, here it is a gratitude that I express to all those who mobilized to come and attend this ceremony which is for me very modestly a feeling of recognition of the communities towards me.", reacted Professor Nouha Cissé.
In this video, Nouha Cissé talks about his life, his difficult childhood, and his success, which he attributes to the people who supported him after the loss of his parents and grandparents.

Méchanceté. Y a pas pire que de justement prendre le temps d'exprimer la haine tout en disant avoir d'autres priorités. Cet homme mérite tous les éloges et son histoire inspire des hommes et femmes plus valeureux que vous.
un vieux menteur rentier de la crise casamancaise
J'ai été éleve au Lycée Djignabo de Ziguinchor il y'a belle lurette et Mr Nouha Cisse à été le proviseur de notre lycée.
Un Monsieur courtois, gentil, avec un esprit vif qui nous a toujours poussé vers l'excellence.

Il a aussi une casquette sportive en étant président du casa sports pendant plusieurs années. C'est sous sa présence que le casa sports a remporté pour le titre de champion du Sénégal. Pour les anciens de la région de Ziguinchor on se souvient de ses émissions à la radio chaîne 4 avec son émission sur l'histoire. Alors les petits charognards et haineux qui ne connaissent rien de la vie allez voir ailleurs.
Les méchants et envieux ne veulent ni entendre, ni voir d'autres réussir, ils minimisent les bonnes actions des autres. Ils sont souvent mégalomanes. Tcheum !
Un excellent professeur doublé d'humaniste

Trés bel hommage, Nouha est un monument, un grand humaniste, cet ancien militant de AJ a participé à tous les combats de son temps.
Il a été un Sisyphe pour beaucoup de causes dans la région de Ziguinchor à ses risques et périls;même sa famille y est passée.
