The Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim complex in Touba had the distinct honor of receiving a visit from Serigne Abdou Lahat Mbacké, also known as Serigne Abdou Lahat Mbacké Ambassador, son of Serigne Fallou Mbacké. The meeting took place in the presence of the complex's president, Cheikh Ahmadou Mbacké Badawi.

The visit began with a historical overview of the complex, tracing the founding wishes of Sheikh Ahmadoul Khadim, wishes granted by Allah and progressively implemented by the various general caliphs of the Mourides, from Serigne Modou Moustapha Mbacké to Serigne Mouktaka Mbacké.

Next, Sheikh Ahmadou Badawi gave the floor to the heads of the complex to present all of its components: the Quran Institute (its history and current state); the Majalis (its evolution and current situation);

Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim University (UCAK) and its UFRs and institutes, the steps taken on the regulatory level which led to its institutional accreditation as well as its training programs combining religious sciences, Arabic literature and professional disciplines meeting the needs of Senegal and the Mouride community.

The research, partnership and community service activities carried out by the university in Touba were also presented.

The floor was then given to Serigne Mbacké Abdourahmane, director of the Majalis, who enriched the presentation with his field testimony, as well as the representatives of Serigne Fallou Mbacké completed the presentation of the Quran institute.

The visit concluded with a warm appreciation from the distinguished guest. A great scholar of the Mouride community, renowned for his profound religious, national and international knowledge, Serigne Abdou Lahat Mbacké Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the work accomplished daily under the leadership of Cheikh Ahmadou Badawi.

The session was concluded with prayers offered for the entire complex, for the continued success of this work entrusted to them by the general caliph of the Mourides.
