The Senegalese National Lottery (LONASE) took a decisive step in its modernization strategy on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. During a formal ceremony at the Noom Hotel in Dakar, the national company signed major partnership agreements with LonaseWay, Lonase 22bet, and Lonase Partner. This agreement aims to officially launch secure online gaming platforms that comply with the state monopoly.

For the Director General of LONASE, Dr. Toussaint Manga, these agreements stem from a clear desire to structure the gambling and betting sector. "It's about building relationships based on trust, performance, and the creation of shared value, within a framework strictly controlled by the public authorities," he stated.

This gradual opening towards digital technology should allow the institution to better respond to the needs of citizens and the transformations of Senegalese society, while strengthening its institutional visibility.

The technical partners made no secret of their satisfaction with this historic agreement. Ferdinand Sarr, director of Lonase Partner, emphasized that this commitment goes beyond the purely technical aspects: "We are laying the foundations for a unique, structured, and profoundly human support ecosystem."

For his part, Ousmane Ndoye, CEO of LonaseWay, reaffirmed his organization's commitment to putting its expertise and operational rigor at the service of LONASE's ambitions, in compliance with international standards. Security and ethical considerations are central to this partnership. Fallou Tamba, representative of Lonase 22bet, explained that the objective is to strengthen transparency, regulatory compliance, and the protection of personal data.
