This is breaking News on the BBC WEBSITE El Hadji Diouf arrested after Manchester club fight El Hadji Diouf did not play for Doncaster on Saturday Six men, including footballer El Hadji Diouf, were arrested after a nightclub brawl which left a man seriously hurt. The Doncaster Rovers striker is understood to be one of five men who were bailed until 23 May following the fight at a Manchester club. QPR's Anton Ferdinand is understood to have been interviewed under police caution but not arrested. A 33-year-old man is seriously ill but stable in hospital, said a Greater Manchester Police spokesman. The alleged incident took place at 03:40 BST on Sunday in the Circle Club and the injured man was found close to the Barton Arcade club. A GMP statement said: "Six men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, five of whom have been bailed until 23 May pending further police inquiries. "Another man has assisted the investigation, which is ongoing." Mr Diouf, 31, who appeared for Senegal in the 2002 World Cup and has previously played for Liverpool, Bolton and Blackburn, did not play in Doncaster's 4-3 defeat by Portsmouth on Saturday, which saw them relegated from the Championship. Mr Ferdinand, 27, who was a team-mate of Mr Diouf's at Sunderland and is the brother of Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand, played in his club's 1-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion on the same day. Ce gars la va mal finir He really is a waste of space.

    El Hadji Diouf Arrested

    En Avril, 2012 (12:27 PM)
Cette nouvelle est dans tous les sites Ici en Angleterre

SOCCER bad boy El Hadji Diouf was yesterday arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after a brawl involving pals of former team-mate Anton Ferdinand. Tempers flared inside a nightclub in the early hours before spilling outside as bouncers moved in.

Diouf — believed to have suffered a face wound — was quizzed by police for several hours before being bailed.

A friend of Ferdinand is in a “serious” condition in hospital with head and neck injuries thought to have been inflicted with a broken glass or bottle. Diouf, 31, left, had arrived with wife Valerie at the Circle Bar in Manchester city centre at 3am.

A source said: “It’s not clear what started the fight but it became very nasty very, very quickly.”

A total of six men were held. QPR defender Ferdinand, 27, was interviewed under caution but not arrested.

Bad blood between the players goes back to their Sunderland playing days. In 2009 The Sun revealed Diouf allegedly threatened to “knife” Ferdinand after a bust-up on the pitch.

Senegal star Diouf — who had played for Liverpool and Bolton — was then sold to Blackburn.

He went to Glasgow Rangers before moving to Championship strugglers Doncaster Rovers. He was not in the side on Saturday when yet another defeat guaranteed relegation.

He has been accused several times of spitting on the pitch at opposing players and even fans.

Last year then-QPR manager Neil Warnock accused him of taunting a player writhing on the ground with a broken leg.

Like they say Money does not buy you Class !!!!!

un vrai voyou ce Diouf Mais l'Angleterre ce n'est pas le Senegal S'il a tord il risque d'aller en prison comme tout les autres qu'ils ont envoyes en prison . There is no smoke without fire Chaque annee il a des pepeins avec la justice. Franchement c'est la honte
