Kédougou : Importante saisie de produits dopants, trois personnes arrêtées
The Kédougou Gendarmerie Legion is increasing its security operations on the ground. It has just achieved a major success in the fight against drug trafficking in the Kédougou region. Between August 17 and 19, 2025, elements of the Saraya company, supported by the Kédougou Surveillance and Intervention Squadron (ESI) based in Kanouméri, intercepted a large shipment of doping products during several control operations.
According to the information gathered, the seizure involved five blister packs and isolated tablets of Tramaking 225, fifty blister packs of ten tablets each, as well as eight boxes each containing ten blister packs of Tapenradol 225. These targeted operations took place in the localities of Tenkoto, Sabodala and Kharakhéna.
Suspecting the existence of large-scale trafficking, the Kédougou research unit was activated to further investigate. This led to the arrest of three individuals, including the alleged main supplier based in Kharakhéna. A search of his home led to the seizure of an additional quantity of Tramadol.
Investigators are continuing their investigations to dismantle the entire network. According to sources established in these areas, the supply chain could extend beyond national borders, which suggests the scale of the trafficking.
This operation serves as a reminder of the increased vigilance of the defense and security forces in the face of a phenomenon that threatens both public health and the security of the region.

Si les photos de ces individus viennent de la Gendarmerie, il faudrait rectifier, les visages même en flagrance doivent rester anonymes jusqu’à la condamnation définitive. Le menottage se fait toujours au dos ni devant ni sur un support fixe. C’est inadmissible ce niveau d’amateurisme.
Entièrement d'accord. Imaginons si le gars essaie de s'échapper et fait tomber le plafond sur lui... En plus, moi j'ai beaucoup de compassion pour nos compatriotes qui vivent dans ces régions éloignées et frontalières. Ils sont Senégalais comme nous, mais ne recoivent peut-être pas grand chose du pays et sont désoeuvrés.
