According to the specialized media, the singer had conducted a discreet campaign to obtain the portfolio, but the position ultimately remained in the hands of Françoise Remarck, appreciated by the presidential couple and protected by Téné Birahima Ouattara, the deputy prime minister.

Salif Traoré, better known as A'Salfo, is an Ivorian singer and cultural figure born on December 15, 1975 in Abidjan.
At the head of the famous Zouglou group Magic System, known worldwide for hits like Premier Gaou, Bouger Bouger or Magic in the Air, he is also the founder and general commissioner of the Festival of Urban Music of Anoumabo (FEMUA), a major event that supports the construction of schools and health centers in Ivory Coast.
Actively involved internationally, he has been a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador since 2012, working for peace and education through culture. In parallel, through his company Gaou Productions, he supports young talent and plays a significant role in the African music industry.
