Nigeria : Un ancien ministre de Buhari condamné à 75 ans de prison
In Nigeria, former Energy Minister Saleh Mamman was sentenced in absentia on Wednesday, May 13, to 75 years in prison for money laundering and fraud amounting to 33.8 billion naira. The sentence was handed down by Federal High Court Judge James Omotosho.
The cumulative sentences amount to 75 years in prison
In total, the former minister was found guilty on 12 counts brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The cumulative sentences amount to 75 years in prison. Judge Omotosho stipulated that the prison sentences be served consecutively, not concurrently.
