Risque sanitaire lié aux produits Sofcare : SOS Consommateurs saisit la justice
The case of the Softcare brand baby sofas and sanitary napkins is becoming one of the biggest health scandals in Senegal in recent years. According to the Senegalese consumer protection association SOS Consommateurs, these products pose a major health risk that has persisted for several years. This risk was brought to light following an inspection conducted by the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (ARP) on January 12, 2024.
However, according to SOS Consommateurs, the problems observed predate this date and have long escaped or been kept from public attention.
The association commends the courage of Dr. Moussa Diallo, who decided to denounce what it calls a "health scandal," despite pressure and attempts to suppress his actions from within his superiors. For SOS Consommateurs, this act is a civic duty and a true act of patriotism.
In this context, the consumer organization is requesting that Dr. Diallo be urgently summoned to appear before the National Office for the Fight Against Fraud and Corruption (OFNAC). It also demands that he be granted whistleblower status and the protection provided for in Articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 2025-14 of September 4, 2025.
Furthermore, SOS Consommateurs reports having filed a complaint with the courts and is confident that the public prosecutor's office at the Mbour High Court will order a thorough judicial investigation. This is to shed full light on this matter, put an end to the health hazard, and bring all those responsible to justice, regardless of their position or level of responsibility.

il faut aussi s intéresser à toutes les marques qui nous vendent du lait en poudre de perdre et de la margarine comme étant du beurre. Pour ceux qui ne savent pas margarine c’est de l huile modifié chimiquement alors que le beurre vient du lait de la vache.
