Indonésie - Concours international de récital du Saint Coran : Un jeune sénégalais non-voyant décroche la 2ᵉ place
Serigne Ousmane! That's the name of the young Senegalese reciter, who is blind, and who won 2nd place at the 4th edition of the international Holy Quran recitation competition held in Indonesia.
This competition has allowed the winner to continue his rise among the leading figures in Quranic recitation. According to Al Badri, known for his commitment to promoting Quranic recitation and the first to showcase Serigne Ousmane's talent on social media, this distinction reflects "a rare level of excellence" in the young student.
The competition, exclusively for visually impaired people, brought together more than sixty participants from thirty-eight countries, illustrating its prestige and high standards. In this particularly challenging environment, Serigne Ousmane distinguished himself through the accuracy of his memorization, the quality of his voice, and the precision of his recitation.
