Kolda : Le "Ubi tey, Jang tey" pas effectif à l’école élémentaire de Gadapara
A training school that hosts student teachers on placement, Gadapara Elementary School is still under the influence of rainwater. Here, the "Ubi tey, Jang tey" (Ubi tey, Jang tey) is not effective, due to the presence of grass and puddles in places.
Despite the presence of teachers, classes have not started due to a lack of students. The latter are conspicuous by their absence, as the conditions for a good start to the school year are not met.
However, the director, Yaya Souané, and his teaching team are busy cleaning the courtyard and disinfecting the classrooms to welcome students to this training school located in the lowlands of the Gadapara district of the commune of Kolda, where even access to the school's water point is almost impossible because of the mud.
According to the director of this school with 12 teaching classes for at least 530 students, the population and the authorities must commit to restoring the reputation of this temple of knowledge, which is the pride of the people of Kolding in terms of good academic results.
With this rainwater, part of the boundary wall collapsed, opening the way for stray animals. Since its creation in 1990 and with the return of heavy rains in Fouladou, the school has required significant state resources to survive.
