Administration publique au Mali : 36 000 agents fictifs présumés, débusqués
On Friday, August 15, the President of the Malian Transition, Army General Assimi Goïta, received the report on the Integrated Human Resources Management System (HRMIS). A tool that allows for control of the number of public administration employees.
This report reveals the census of 158,317 state and local government employees. 36,151 did not come forward to regularize their situation during this enrollment period, which ran from May 2022 to September 2024.
They represent 4.57% of the payroll
The Minister of Refoundation, Bakary Traoré, gave them a three-month grace period to register, but they were never presented. They are considered fictitious agents. According to Malijet, they represent 4.57% of the payroll, or 48.28 billion CFA francs.
