“Acts of violence of this nature also undermine peace, development and the joint efforts of Nigeriens and their partners to build a safer and more prosperous future,” stressed the US Embassy in Niamey, which did not fail to express its solidarity with the people and government of Niger.
He ultimately expressed his support for efforts to bring those responsible for this attack to justice, while also expressing his commitment to "working with Niger and regional partners to promote security, resilience and respect for human life."
