In view of the second window of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, the Senegal national team begins its preparation this Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Marius Ndiaye Stadium, starting at 9 p.m.

This first training session marks the start of a crucial week for Desagana Diop's men, just days before an important event for Senegalese basketball. Dakar will host the second window of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, scheduled from February 26 to March 1.

Placed in Group B, the Lions will face Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Madagascar.
