Burkinabe Customs officers intercepted two major shipments during operations.
290 packages of plastic bags, or more than 1.27 million units, were seized, in accordance with the ban on the importation of these environmentally harmful products.
The Mobile Brigade also seized 1,320 explosive sticks, 13 rolls of detonating cables and 8,000 detonators, carefully hidden in a truck in transit.
