Burkina Faso : Deux anciens membres du Régiment de sécurité présidentielle arrêtés dans un réseau de braqueurs

The National Police announced on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the dismantling of two groups of suspected robbers involved in several armed attacks in Ouagadougou. Among the eight suspects arrested are former members of the Presidential Security Regiment (RSP) who were dismissed from the army.

Investigations carried out by the central police station's research brigade led to the seizure of twenty stolen devices, firearms and various materials used during the attacks.

The eight suspects were brought before the public prosecutor at the Ouagadougou High Court, while a ninth member of the network remains actively sought.
